浮世絵風味

I went to the Japan Ukiyo-e Museum（日本浮世絵博物館） in Nagano. Ukiyo-e paintings based on The Tale of Genji（源氏物語） are on display.

J’aime bien Ukiyo-e!

“Mitate（見立て）” is one of the expressions of ukiyo-e.

When you look at ukiyo-e, you have fun guessing the meaning based on the motifs in the pictures.
